The Parents Day Out (PDO) is an outreach program of Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake and reflects the mission statement of “Sharing God’s Grace with all through our rich traditions of faith, family and community.” As an Outreach Ministry, we serve families in our Grace Church congregation, Lily Lake, St. Charles, Elburn and surrounding communities. We follow the District 301 school calendar. The program offers a caring, nurturing, faith based and safe environment for your child. While your child is at Grace's Preschool & Parents Day Out, they are learning through play in a fun and engaging way. Children have the opportunity to learn about Jesus, strengthen social and emotional skills and other developing skills such as letter, number, color, and shape recognition as they learn through play and grow in faith.
Parent/guardians may register their child to attend for the entire program year, beginning on Monday, September 8, 2025 and ending on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Our program runs on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:15am - 1:15pm. We use the lower level south church entrance. Children should be toilet trained. Our teachers are Red Cross certified in child CPR & First Aid.
A typical daily schedule includes:
*Circle Time which includes a Bible Story, Calendar ,Weather
* Every week a new letter and number are introduced and included in classroom games
* Every month a new shape and color are introduced
* Indoor and/or Outdoor Gross Motor Time
* Snack and Lunch (you provide your own)
* Craft and Journal
* Music & Dance
* Cooperative Free Play: sensory table, dramatic play station, science table, play kitchen, small manipulatives, and library
Tuition is: $112/month for only Mondays, $132/month for only Wednesdays or $244/month for Mondays and Wednesdays. Tuition is due by the 10th of each month. Payments may be made in cash or by check payable to Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake. Please see application form for applicable fees.
